Cedar Roof Cleaning & Treatment Application

After all the prep work is completed, we pick up all debris from the repairs & hand scrape the organic growth from the roof

We then clean the roof using leaf blowers or compressed air (depending on the severity) to remove leaves, tree debris & organic growth.

We then apply our exclusive cedar roof treatment to your roof saturating all shakes & ridge-caps using a low pressure spray system to ensure a heavy & even application

The treatment is now locked into the fibers of the wood & the weather does the rest.  Because of the cleaning action of our cedar roof treatment the moss, fungus & lichen are destroyed & will be kept away for a long time

Your shake roof will return to that silver grey color it had when it was just a few months old.  The length of time to return the cedar roof to the silver grey color depends on the roofs age, condition and weather. Roof pitch is also a factor

It will not damage landscaping, stain your concrete, clog your gutter system and will not harm human or animal life.

We do not pressure wash cedar roofs since a pressure washer can range from 1500 to 3500 PSI which results in taking 1/8 inch up to 3/16 of an inch off the surface of the shake/shingle . Not to mention the possibility of causing a leak from loosening flashings & damaging the felt paper interlayment.

Do yourself and your roof a favor do not pressure wash it.
